A True Partnership
Mark Colvin is a native Montanan raised in Jordan, MT. He attended Eastern Montana College and had a great time! He has been a business owner since the mid-1980's when he was the owner/operator of a semi-truck, hauling gravel and cattle feed. He went on to own several other successful businesses, starting Colvin Sales & Service in 2005. He and wife, Leona, share a full and happy life with two small children and a desire for helping others both at Colvin Sales & Service and through community service.
Leona Waldhausen Colvin was raised in Culbertson. A graduate of Dakota Wesleyan University, she is new to the automotive industry, having worked primarily in non-profit work as a community organizer, program director and most recently as the executive director of a healthcare foundation. As the office and business manager, she oversees key business details and contributes her vital support in many ways to the service and sales team, alongside Mark.
All in all, the shop is a product of Mark's original interest in and passion for cars. Since he was a boy, Mark has been eager to take things apart and then try putting them back together. His curiosity and willingness to try and make things work mean he'll tackle just about any automotive or heavy-duty truck problem that comes our way. Colvin's has earned a solid reputation for delivering the kind of service customers can count on.
Our Staff
All staff members are selected on the merit of the special skills they contribute and overall auto service experience. In order to best help our customers in an ever-changing industry, we support continuing education costs for our staff.
Danny Heckmun has had a lifelong interest in automotive repair. He has long been known as the guy who could fix things, and we are proud to have him on our staff as a master mechanic. Danny will take anything apart and take his time to put it back together efficiently, getting you back on the road safely.
Leslie Waldhausen Bengochea is our Parts Manager, responsible for overseeing our NAPA parts store. Exemplary attention to detail and dedication to customer service, if we don't have your part in stock, you can count on Leslie to find it for you. Leslie and her husband, David are both Culbertson natives and are raising their family here.
Buddy Waldhausen is our honorary Shop Foreman, bringing more than 50 years mechanical experience to the shop as well as the sensibilities of a retired military man. Buddy was born and raised in Culbertson and is really enjoying his retirement with his three daughters (including Leona) and six out of seven grandkids living in Culbertson.
Todd Stromberg is our shop assistant, working mainly after school and weekends. Todd rounds out our service crew, by helping complete many of the tasks necessary for our customers.
The staff at Colvin Sales & Service provide expert service and support on all newer cars, pickups and trucks, as well as favorite older vehicles. But most importantly, these guys know how to get them to run like a charm.
